Judging was based on originality, creativity, and ability to express the theme “The Spirit of Alaska” in a positive and creative manner. Judging was not based on the level of sophistication of the art, as this was a contest that included students in the K–12 grade range.
We are proud that the final selection committee was made up of individuals who have helped shape our unique Spirit of Alaska.
